U.Wirth@lingua.uni-frankfurt.de Uwe Wirth is Assistant Professor at the Departement of German Literature at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität Frankfurt. He studied Literature and Philosophy at Heidelberg, Frankfurt and Berkeley. He wrote his PhD-thesis on "Diskursive Dummheit. Abduktion und Komik als Grenzphänomene des Verstehens" (Heidelberg 1999). In 1996 he founded the "International Research Group on Abductive Inference", which is providing a Homepage with Article File and Biography.
